Week #2 Schedule Copy

Good Morning!

Here is a copy of our weekly schedule in case you did not receive it this morning via School Messenger:

April 13 - 20, 2020

Good Morning Parents,

Thank you for all of your patience and hard work during this time. Google Classroom and Google Meet are new forms of technology that we are learning to use for the first time. It was nice to see students comment inside Google Classroom workspaces and ask questions. This is important for students to become more independent over the next couple of weeks.
It was nice to FINALLY see faces! For those students who missed our first Google Meet, we will have weekly meetings and I will offer office hours using Google Meet starting this week. During these office hours, students can use our Google Meet login code and ask me questions over the video conferencing. I can help students hand in assignments, clarify a concept or anything they need extra help with.
I will continue to check emails during regular school hours. If an email is sent after 2:30pm, I will likely respond the following morning. Below is a schedule (class code is the same code as last week for all of the meets):

Google Meet Schedule

1.     Monday’s 1:00pm – 2:00pm = office hours for students (if they need help)
2.     Wednesday’s 1:00pm – 2:00pm = ENTIRE class meeting
3.     Friday’s 11:30am – 12:30pm = office hours on students (if they need help)

Mrs. Samra’s Work Day Hours

1.     Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 2:30pm
2.     Friday’s – 8:00am – 12:00pm (Teacher Meetings for the rest of the day)

The following tasks are to be completed by Monday, April 20th. You can do them in any order that you would like. The approximate time to complete your assignments are listed to help you plan your week. If you did not finish last week’s work, I will leave up the assignment for you to finish.

****I will be changing the layout of the Google Classroom Classwork section so that it is more friendly to use.****
