Good Morning Parents and Students,

  

I hope you all enjoyed a restful weekend and enjoy this Monday off! Students are soon approaching the end to some topics in grade 3. For these activities I would like to plan lessons that involve more paper, pencil and colouring and less technology, if possible. In order to plan, I would need to know if students have writing and colouring supplies, as well as paper at home. Please email me if you don’t have these supplies and I will create alternate lessons. I don’t want anyone to purchase anything during this time! Here are the activities for this week:

Language Arts/Social Studies/Science	Time- 3.5 hours
The One and Only Ivan ·       Audiobook #1 pages 19 – 27 ·       Audiobook #2 pages 27-55 ·       Drawing	(60 min)
Reading ·       Read the assigned books in Epic! and complete the quizzes	(30 min)
Reading ·       Read and record	(30 min)
Movement ·       Gym/Music	(30 min)
Science         ·       Life Cycles of Fish and Mammals	(60 min)

Math	Time 1.5 hours
·       Calendar Math	(60 min)
·       Telling Time Part 1	(30 min)

1.     Monday’s 1:00pm – 2:00pm = office hours for students (if they need help)

2.     Wednesday’s 1:00pm – 2:00pm = ENTIRE class meeting

3.     Friday’s 11:30am – 12:30pm = office hours for students (if they need help)
