Math
Ms. Bishnoi taught our students about an addition strategy called "My Friend 10."
AMA how to solve 7 +8 = ? and 2 + 0 + 8 +8 =? using the "My Friend 10" strategy.
Students also engaged in "Math Talks" during problem solving activities. These talks helps students work collaboratively using positive language when solve equations. Some of the sentence starters for discussion are:

AMA how to solve the following question:
There are 342 beads in the colours red, blue, green and pink. If there are 102 pink beads, how many of the other beads could there possibly be? Give 3 different ways.
Literacy:
Students engaged in activities on how to use strong adjectives in their writing. AMA different adjectives I can use for the words happy, bored, sad, wow and good.
We continued to read from our class read aloud, Charlie and The Chocolate Factory.
Inquiry:
Students engaged in rotations about India. With Ms. Chaudhry, students learned about the economy of India. Ms. Leggo taught students about the geography and I taught students about the culture in India. AMA the different aspects of culture.
