Here is some Halloween fun homework due on Monday! Please have your child sort and tally their candy from Trick or Treating (if they went). I sent home the worksheet and will attach it on the blog below as well.

Math:
Students explored skip counting by 3's and 4's. They focused on graphing and shapes related fall celebrations. We ordered numbers least to greatest and worked on word problems.
Math test is on Wednesday, November 6, 2019.

Literacy:
Students focused on descriptive writing using the 5 senses. They wrote about their Frankenstein/Pumpkin people. AMA the descriptive words I used!
Art:
Students completed their Picasso Frankenstein/Pumpkin Math Art and used these creatures to complete a descriptive writing piece. They also created decorative witches for our school "Door Decorating" contest.
Our Halloween Howler assembly was a success! Students practiced all week and performed two times on the day of the assembly.
